Still Around
Still around and waiting for my next appointment with Dr. McDreamy in about 3 weeks to se what changes in the protocol might need to be made. After the failed Bravelle cycle we are sitting out a cycle and to make it that much more real (and painful…and real painful) AF started with a vengeance this morning. The pain woke me out of my sleep. With the artificially thickened lining I knew this month was going to be a bitch!
I am going to call Mc Dreamy’s office today to see if there are any cancellations because with all of the meds my cycle has seemingly been shortened to 24-25 days and my currently scheduled appointment has me going to see him on CD1 or CD2 and I don’t want to sit out another cycle. Maybe I should quit worrying and wait to see what happens and deal with it then.
Yet another straight friend came to me recently and told me that she is pregnant. I can’t begrudge her because she is going to make a good mom and she’s a sweet person. I don’t get mad at folks for being pregnant just deeply sad because I am not. Have you ever noticed that everyone seems to be pregnant when you are TTC? This really sucks!
Still Here and Shooting Up!
Almost two weeks have passed and we are still here and shooting up. We have follicles and they are growing, last we checked (yesterday) we had some 8s and 11s and we need minimum 18s. On a positive note we have a uterus lining of 11 and they want a minimum of 9, so we are over achieving there (good for implantation I would guess). Dr. McDreamy’s office called back last night and told me to scale back on the Bravelle because they don’t wantus to make the paper for huge numbers of multiples. They don’t want to have more than 4 viable follicles. We go back on Sunday for yet another wanding and more blood work.
In a minue we are going to be selling plasma. We are averaging 600-700 dollars every 3 days for the wandings, bloodwork, and meds. Gotta love the no fertility coverage clause!
